The problem

Schools typically run on a patchwork of registers, spreadsheets and disconnected tools — admissions in one place, fee collection in another, attendance on paper, and no single view of the institution. Staff waste hours on manual data entry and reconciliation, parents are kept out of the loop, and administrators have no real-time picture of enrolment, fees due or attendance.

What we built

Kalpabriksha is building EduManage Pro as a single, self-hostable web application (designed to deploy on ordinary cPanel/Hostinger shared hosting) that runs the entire school from one dashboard. It uses a lightweight front-controller architecture (index.php → router → auto-discovered module actions) with session-based auth, bcrypt passwords, CSRF protection and six role-based access levels (Super Admin, Admin, Teacher, Student, Parent, Accountant). A web installer handles database setup, schema import, admin creation and config generation. Optional modules (Library, Timetable, Transport, Health, Discipline, Notice Board and more) can be toggled on or off from a Module Manager, and a daily cron drives automations such as absence alerts, overdue-fee marking, assignment reminders and weekly database backups.

The outcome

Currently in active development. The core modules, role-based access system, web installer and cron-driven automations are being built and hardened toward a first production release.
